10 Days of Giving – 2019 Day 8
Jakob Ness has been chosen as a recipient of the 10 Days of Giving. Jakob is 14 years old and attends 9th grade in Fergus Falls, MN. He was diagnosed in October 2019 with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL). Jakob and his family are currently traveling to Fargo daily where he is receiving chemotherapy treatment at the Roger Maris Cancer Center. Jakob is kind and grounded in his faith. He has a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. He has a strong love for the MN Vikings which he shared with his late grandfather who passed away from Glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer, three short years ago. Jakob is eagerly looking forward to attending a MN Vikings game through his Make a Wish Trip next season.
Jakob’s Day of Giving includes a basket full of everything Vikings for their #1 fan. We also hope to lessen the burden of travel expenses by providing a variety of gas and restaurant gift cards.
