10 Days of Giving – Day 3
Tessa Vareberg is a 2-year-old girl from Red Lake Falls, MN. She was recently diagnosed with Leukemia in October of this year. She is receiving ongoing treatment locally at Roger Maris Cancer Center. Tessa loves to play with her babies, play-doh, coloring and anything Minnie Mouse!
Tessa is the youngest of 6 children. She has two older brothers, Kobe (8) and Shane (11), and three older sisters, Elliana (6), Chloe (11), and Alyssa (13). Tessa’s parents, Shane and Amber, work to maintain their busy home schedule while splitting their time traveling to Fargo with Tessa for treatment.
Tessa’s Day of Giving includes a variety of gifts and surprises for the entire family, including clothes, bedding and toys. The team of amazing volunteers worked hard to ensure that Tessa and each of her siblings will feel special with items specifically chosen based on their wish lists. We also hope to lessen the continued financial burden by providing the family with gas and Target gift cards.
A special Thank You to the team of volunteers that helped to make Tessa’s Day of Giving personalized and meaningful: Ashley Bakkegard, Heather Morris, and Pat North.
Please join us in praying for Tessa and her family as they navigate this new cancer diagnosis and continue to fight this courageous battle. Stay Strong sweet Tessa, Landon’s Light is shining on you!
