Meet Emiliee!
Since the day she was born, Emilee has faced challenges that most children never experience. Diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a progressive and life-threatening illness that affects both the heart and lungs, Emilee has spent much of her life navigating hospital stays, medical procedures, and countless miles of travel to see doctors and specialists.
Yet through every obstacle, Emilee’s strength shines brightly.
Emilee approaches life with remarkable courage, resilience and positivity. She continues to embrace the things that bring her joy and reminds everyone around her what it means to keep moving forward with hope.
We were blessed to provide Emilee with the opportunity to visit Snake Discovery in Woodbury, MN where she finally got to hold a real, live snake. One day, Emilee hopes to become a reptile veterinarian at Snake Discovery, combining her love of animals with her caring heart.
This fall, Emilee will begin 6th grade in Moorhead. When she’s not focused on school, she loves reading, swimming, and anything involving dragons.
