Lydia is an incredibly sweet 6-year-old girl from West Fargo who was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor on July 4th, 2022. She immediately underwent surgery to remove her right kidney along with the tumor. Unfortunately, the cancer had spread to her lungs, and she bravely completed an extensive 25-week chemotherapy treatment plan. We are thrilled to report Lydia recently was able to ring the bell and have her port removed. Lydia is a kind, caring and creative little girl who loves art, drawing and unicorns.
Lydia has an amazing support system and has been surrounded by an army of loved ones throughout this journey. Her parents, Lindsey and Neil, have navigated the challenges and adversity with a tremendous amount of strength, faith and determination.
Lydia’s Miracle Moment included a weekend getaway to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge as well as enjoy Crayola Experience and SEA LIFE at the Mall of America. We are thrilled to provide the opportunity for Lydia and her family to celebrate and create lasting memories together. We also included special surprises for her sister, Sophia, and cousin, Mirra, who will be joining her on this fun adventure!
