Alex is a genuine and kind 16-year-old from Fergus Falls, MN. He was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in April of this year and has made countless trips to Fargo to receive treatment at the Roger Maris Cancer Center. He recently underwent surgery at Mayo, and we are beyond grateful the surgeons were able to successfully remove the cancerous tumor from his leg. His recovery plan is extensive, and he will also be resuming chemo treatments. Alex has a very calming presence; he is soft spoken and wise beyond his years. His determination and positive attitude are keeping him on the right path to beating cancer.

Alex has two older sisters, Kimberly and Jasmine. Alex’s Mom, Melissa, and Stepfather, Jason, have navigated the challenges of his cancer journey with a great deal of strength, love, and faith. They have spent a significant amount of time traveling for treatment and have been by his side every step of the way to ensure the best possible outcome.

Alex recently got his driver’s license but even before getting his license, he purchased his pride and joy, a 1993 Ford F150 pickup. Alex’s Miracle Moment included a bumper-to-bumper complete tune-up and repairs for his truck. We called in our friends and experts at Fix it Forward Ministry to partner with us to make this happen. They had an experienced team of volunteer mechanics working on Alex’s truck to ensure it will be safe and reliable for many years to come.

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to Tommy and the entire team at Fix it Forward Ministry. We could not have asked to work with a better group of kind and caring individuals. Thank you for taking such great care of Alex’s truck and helping us provide joy in his journey.

Please join us in praying for Alex and his family as they continue to navigate the unknowns of his cancer journey. Stay positive Alex, Landon’s Light continues to shine on you!
