Kierra is a sweet and kindhearted 11-year-old girl from Moorhead, MN who was born with Von Willebrand disease type 3. Kierra is required to have continued care including doctor visits, infusions, and medications. She bravely faces the challenges of her diagnosis with a great deal of positivity and demonstrated such beautiful humbleness and gratitude during our visit.
Kierra and her dad, David, have done a wonderful job navigating this journey together as a team and are quite the dynamic duo. Their strong bond is evident in their sweet and loving relationship. David continues to put Kierra and her health first and foremost to ensure she receives the best possible care.
Kierra’s Miracle Moment included a gaming computer along with all the accessories needed to play her favorite games. Kierra is a typical pre-teen who loves all things makeup and skin care. We had a fun time providing her with a cute makeup bag stocked with self-care items. Kierra and David love movie nights at home so we included a warm blanket, fuzzy socks and treats to enjoy during their next movie. We were also excited to provide gift cards to their favorite restaurant to enjoy a fun evening out.
