Meet Blaine!
Blaine is a joyful, compassionate, and adventurous nine-year-old boy who brings light to everyone around him. He has a deep love for animals, enjoys spending time outdoors, and rarely meets a stranger. Whether he’s exploring nature, caring for animals, or making someone laugh, Blaine approaches life with kindness, curiosity, and an incredible capacity for empathy. His gentle heart and positive spirit have touched countless lives, and he continues to inspire those around him every day.
In September 2025, Blaine’s family received unexpected news when a routine MRI revealed a glioma. The MRI had been planned as part of ongoing monitoring following an ischemic stroke he experienced at birth. Despite the challenges he faced early in life, Blaine has never experienced symptoms or developmental delays related to his stroke and has continued to thrive.
Since the discovery of the tumor, additional diagnostic testing has been inconclusive. While many questions remain unanswered, this has also provided precious time for Blaine and his family to continue creating memories together. Because he remains symptom-free and there is currently no clear indication of either a high-grade or low-grade glioma, he is not undergoing treatment at this time.
Today, Blaine continues to enjoy being a kid, loving animals, spending time outdoors, and making memories with the people he loves most. His family is profoundly grateful for every day, every adventure, and every opportunity to celebrate the joy he brings to their lives.
