Meet Cora!

In April 2026, Cora’s life changed when she was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. She began 12 weeks of chemotherapy in mid-May, finishing at the end of July. On August 17, Cora underwent surgery to remove the portion of her right fibula affected by the tumor. Her surgeons replaced the damaged bone with cadaver bone and used skin grafts to repair the affected area around her ankle.

After enduring so much in such a short time, Cora continues to heal from surgery while preparing for another 16 weeks of chemotherapy. Her journey is far from over, but she continues to face each new challenge with incredible strength and courage. As Cora navigates the uncertainty and difficulties of treatment, we are reminded of the resilience of these amazing children and the importance of surrounding them with love, hope, and support every step of the way. Please keep Cora and her family in your prayers.
