10 Days of Giving – Day 2
Trevor Lloyd is a 17-year-old boy from Williston, ND. He was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in September of this year. He is receiving ongoing treatment locally at Roger Maris Cancer Center and is currently completing a 5-day impatient stay at Sanford Medical Center. Trevor has a wide variety of interests including video games, art, drawing, painting, puzzles, Legos, and shoes! He also loves to play the saxophone and previously was in a band.
Trevor has two adult brothers who live outside the home, and one younger brother, Asa (14), who lives at home with him. Trevor’s parents, Sterling and Dominique, work to maintain their home schedule while splitting their time traveling to Fargo with Trevor for treatment.
Trevor’s Day of Giving includes a variety of items tailored to Trevor’s interests. A few of the gifts the volunteer team picked out include an Oculus Virtual Reality Gaming System, a 3-D Yoda Lego Set, and gift cards to further his shoe and gaming collection. The team also included gifts to bring Asa joy as he is separated from his brother. We also hope to lessen the continued financial burden by providing the family with gas and restaurant gift cards.
A special Thank You to the team of volunteers that helped to make Trevor’s Day of Giving personalized and meaningful: Beth Mauch, Brittany Dvorak, and Kim Steffen.
Please join us in praying for Trevor and his family as they continue to navigate the cancer journey and fight this courageous battle. Stay Strong Trevor, Landon’s Light is shining on you!
