REGISTRATION AND APPLICATION INFORMATION

May my daughter play on a boys team?
Yes, but please know that she will be playing on a boys bracketed court. We generally do not play mixed youth teams on girls courts.

May my 10-year-old play on a 12-year-old team?
Yes, but your child will be playing on a 12-year-old bracketed court. Your child will ‘play up.’

One of my team members can’t register before the first game. Should we have someone else play for that first game?
No, you are only allowed five total team members. Should you choose to register with an individual who can only play for a portion of the event, you must then play your remaining games with three team members.

May I enter the tournament with only 3 players on my team?
Yes, but we very strongly encourage four or five. Teams with only three players do not have a substitute if a fellow teammate is injured. If you start the tournament with three players, you may NOT add a fourth during the event. A three player team that loses a player due to an event such as injury or scheduling conflict, then only has two team members remaining to play.

Do the younger children play using a regulation hoop?
Yes. Landon’s Light 3 on 3 Tournament accepts players that are in grades 3-8 during the 2022-2023 school year and all play on 10’ hoops.
