Braxton is a sweet and energetic 6-year-old boy from Morris, MN who has had a rollercoaster journey. Braxton was first diagnosed with Bilateral Wilms Tumor in March of 2022. He bravely fought that battle and was in remission until February of 2023 when the cancer unfortunately returned to his lungs. Braxton has courageously navigated another extensive treatment plan which has included several rounds of chemo, hospital stays and surgeries including his most recent at Sanford Medical Center in June to remove 4 tumors. Despite the obstacles Braxton faces, he continues to shine his light on others through his kindness. His smile and dimples certainly melted our hearts and when he requested that we take a matching photo with our stocking hats, we couldn’t put them on fast enough!
Braxton has two younger brothers, Grayson and Crew, and their household is filled with lots of energy and joy. Braxton’s parents, Mac and Xochil, have navigated the challenges of his diagnosis with a tremendous amount of faith and strength. They have been by his side every step of the way ensuring he has the best possible care and outcome.
Braxton’s Miracle Moment includes a fun filled family weekend getaway. It begins with a trip to Minneapolis to visit the Great Wolf Lodge. Braxton also loves sports, including hockey, and thanks to the incredible generosity of the Minnesota Wild, he and his family will also experience their first Minnesota Wild hockey game. We are grateful to provide the opportunity for Braxton and his family to create special and lasting memories together.
The BEST news is that Braxton’s cancer is currently in remission again so please join us in praying for continued positive results. Stay strong and brave Braxton, Landon’s Light continues to shine on you!
